In 2022, Yamamay continued its collaboration with LILT – Italian League for the Fight against Cancer – by promoting the “Pink Ribbon” initiative in support of breast cancer prevention. In October, the so-called Pink Month, training and awareness activities were launched on the subject with the support of LILT volunteer doctors. In March, we continued with 87 free visits, including ultrasound screening, carried out at the Gallarate head office, thanks to the contribution and organisational support provided by Diana Odv.

Continuing the partnership with ANT, in January 2022 Yamamay also supported the very important campaign to prevent melanoma and skin cancers. The ANT foundation offered our employees dermatological visits with the help of dermatoscopy for the timely diagnosis of suspicious and/or neoplastic lesions, carried out outside Yamamay’s Gallarate head office, inside a mobile clinic, where 84 visits were carried out.

Moreover, to help raise awareness among employees on the issue of correct nutrition, a meeting with Dr. Enrico Ruggeri was held on October 26 at the Yamacademy, which was attended by all head office employees, both face-to-face and remotely, at the end of which the book entitled “Alimentazione e Salute: la Prevenzione comincia a tavola” (Food and Health: Prevention begins at the table” was distributed to everyone present.
